WHO IS DR. HANS
VAN DEN WYNGAERT?
Dr. Hans Van den Wyngaert's base of operations is the brand new AZ Alma Hospital in Eeklo (Belgium), which houses one of the largest knee centers in the country.
He is one of only a few doctors worldwide qualified to use a patented process for knee replacement as a result of advanced knee osteoarthritis. A complete care path was developed around the needs of the patient, focusing on fast recovery and long-lasting, pain free mobility.
Thanks to this expertise in the treatment of osteoarthritis and other painful conditions, AZ Alma's knee center has gained international recognition as a 'center of excellence'. Knee surgeons from all over the world come to Eeklo to study the unique methods of Dr. Van den Wyngaert and his colleagues.

Wat dient u mee te brengen op uw afspraak?
Om efficiënt tot een correcte diagnose te komen en om het verdere beleid samen te kunnen plannen, dient u over recente beeldvorming te beschikken. Noodzakelijke beeldvorming bestaat uit een staande RX van de knie (face, profiel, schuss). Indien u niet in het bezit bent van deze onderzoeken, gelieve dan contact op te nemen per e-mail zodat dit nog vooraf kan gebeuren. Bijkomende beeldvorming kan bestaan uit "full leg"-opnames, CT-scan, ARTRO CT-scan of MRI van de knie.

Verslagen, attesten en andere administratie
De administratieve last voor patiënt en arts is enorm. Gelieve enkel het secretariaat van AZ ALMA (secr.ortho@azalma.be) te contacteren voor deze materie, met duidelijke vermelding van naam en geboortedatum.
